Privacy policy
no-bs-inbox is a personal desktop app used only by its developer, for their own mailboxes.
- What it accesses: with your consent, your email (read, label, archive, move to trash) and your calendar (read-only), via Google and Microsoft APIs.
- Where data lives: on the user's own computer. OAuth tokens are encrypted with the macOS Keychain. There is no server and no analytics.
- Sharing: email content is sent only to AI services the user explicitly enables per account (Anthropic Claude, TypeSafe Jev) to classify, translate and summarise mail. Nothing is sold or shared otherwise.
- Never: the app does not send email and does not permanently delete email.
- Removal: disconnecting an account deletes its tokens and synced data locally and revokes Google access. You can also revoke access at any time in your Google or Microsoft account settings.
Google user data is used in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
